Shop owner Jitin Sharma told that this shop was started by his grandfather in 1940. The shop is so small in appearance that the people working here take and give orders standing outside. People are so fond of his tikkis and bhallas that even in the hot summer, they stand outside his shop with a crowd to eat. The rate of a plate of their Aloo Tikki and Dahi Bhalla is Rs.60.

Their Tikki and Bhalla are different
At this shop, Aloo Tikki is continuously fried on a griddle, which makes it crispy from outside and very soft from inside. Sweet and sour chutney served with Aloo Tikki also enhances its taste. The Dahi Bhalla found here is plain in appearance but tasty to eat. What makes these bhallas different from others is the spice used on them, yogurt with pomegranate and thick sugar candy.

People from far and wide come to his shop to eat Bhalla and Tikki. Kapil, who has been coming to eat at this shop continuously for 20 years, said that the taste of these bhallas and tikkis remains in the mouth for a long time. Customer Rakesh told that whenever we come to Delhi for some work, we definitely go after eating here.

Know location and timing
To come here, you have to get down at Chandni Chowk Metro Station from the Yellow Metro Line. Coming out from gate number 5, you will find this shop at some distance. This shop remains open from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm on all seven days of the week.
